FAQ Sections
1. Best Efforts Service

What does 'Best Efforts Service' actually mean?

It's essentially a label that describes what the plan is built for. We optimize our network differently depending on whether you're casually browsing at home, running a retail shop, or managing a high-demand corporate office.

I just want to watch Netflix and work from home. Which plan is for me?

Our Home Broadband plans are perfect for that ! They give you the speed you need for daily streaming, web browsing, and Zoom calls without making you pay for heavy enterprise features you won't use.

My business relies heavily on the internet 24/7. Should I use a standard plan?

If going offline costs your business money, you should definitely opt for our Leased Line or Enterprise plans. They are built for absolute reliability and dedicated performance that home plans simply aren't designed to guarantee.

So, what exactly is the difference between Broadband and a Leased Line?

Broadband is a shared internet connection, which is why it's affordable for homes. A Leased Line is your own private, dedicated connection. If you pay for 100 Mbps on a leased line, you get exactly 100 Mbps, exclusively for you, all day.

Why is my upload speed lower than my download speed on the Home plan?

Most home users spend 90% of their time downloading—streaming videos, reading articles, or scrolling social media. Because of this, home plans are designed to give you more download speed, which is what you actually need most.

What is a symmetrical connection?

It means your upload speed matches your download speed perfectly. If you have a 200 Mbps symmetrical plan, you download AND upload at 200 Mbps.

Who actually needs a symmetrical connection?

Businesses that constantly send large files to clients, teams running multi-person video conferences all day, or companies performing heavy cloud backups need symmetrical speeds. That's why all our Business and Enterprise plans include it.

Will my Zoom or Teams calls lag if I don't have symmetrical speeds?

Not at all ! Even our Home plans provide plenty of upload speed for standard video calls. Symmetrical speeds only become necessary when you have a whole office of people doing it simultaneously.

What kind of cables do you use for installation?

Depending on your location and the plan you choose, we use a mix of CAT-5, CAT-6, and advanced Fiber Optic cables to ensure you get a fast and stable connection.

Is fiber really that much better than traditional cables?

Absolutely. Fiber optic cables transmit data using light instead of electrical pulses. This makes them incredibly fast, completely immune to electromagnetic interference, and capable of carrying massive amounts of data over long distances without any speed drops.

Can I request a fiber connection if my building doesn't have it yet?

We are constantly expanding our fiber network ! Our engineers will survey your location and recommend the best possible cable type. If pure fiber is available and required for your plan, we will absolutely run it to your premises.

Do weather conditions damage these cables?

Our outdoor cables are heavily shielded and weather-proofed to withstand rain, heat, and standard environmental wear, so your physical connection stays secure.

What does 'Contention Ratio' actually mean?

It's the number of people sharing the same internet ' pipe' as you on the local network. For example, a 1:8 ratio means you share that specific line's maximum capacity with up to 8 other houses or offices.

Does sharing a connection mean my internet will be slow?

Not necessarily. We provision our network to handle heavy traffic. However, on a shared residential line, you might notice a slight dip in speeds during 'rush hour'(like Sunday evenings) when everyone in your neighborhood is online at the same time.

I can't afford any slowdowns. How do I get a dedicated line?

That's exactly what our Leased Lines are for! They come with a 1:1 dedicated ratio. This means the bandwidth is 100% yours and isn't shared with anyone else, ensuring peak performance 24/7.

What does 'Guaranteed Support' cover?

It defines how much of your network we take responsibility for. For standard home plans, our responsibility ends at the main router we install. For enterprise clients, we actively monitor and support the entire internal network infrastructure.

What is an SLA and why should I care?

A Service Level Agreement (SLA) is a formal, legal promise we make to our business clients. It guarantees specific uptime percentages and dictates exactly how fast our engineers must respond to and fix an issue.

If my personal laptop won't connect, will you fix it?

While we can't repair a broken laptop or phone, our support team will gladly help you verify if the router is working properly and guide you through basic troubleshooting to get your device back online.

Why is there a limit on how many devices I can connect?

Every phone, smart TV, laptop, or smart bulb connected to your Wi-Fi uses a tiny slice of your total bandwidth. If you connect 20 devices to a basic home plan, the network gets congested and the router struggles to process all the requests, slowing everyone down.

How many devices can a normal home plan realistically handle?

For a smooth experience, we recommend keeping it under 4 to 10 active devices. If you have a highly automated smart home, you should consider stepping up to a higher-tier plan.

What if I run an office with dozens of employees and computers?

You'll absolutely need an Enterprise or Leased Line connection. These plans are paired with heavy-duty, commercial-grade routing equipment that can effortlessly handle hundreds of simultaneous connections without breaking a sweat.

Who do I call if my internet stops working at 2 AM?

We offer 24/7 remote assistance for all our customers ! You can reach out to our support team at any time, and we'll immediately run diagnostics to try and fix the issue remotely.

Will a technician come to my house if the issue can't be fixed remotely?

Yes. For home broadband users, we schedule field technician visits during standard business hours to resolve physical line or hardware issues.

Do business customers get faster support?

Yes, they do. Because businesses lose money during outages, Enterprise and Leased Line accounts are assigned dedicated account managers and receive priority on-site support, which means we dispatch engineers immediately, even outside normal working hours.

How do I actually log into my new internet connection?

You won't have to do it manually every time! For home users, we configure your router with PPPOE or HotSpot credentials, meaning your router automatically logs into our servers behind the scenes.

What is a Static IP?

A Static IP is a fixed internet address that never changes. Think of it like a permanent public phone number for your network.

Why would I need a Static IP?

They are crucial for businesses that need to host their own web servers, run secure employee VPNs, or remotely access security camera systems. That's why we include them in our enterprise plans.

Is a standard dynamic IP secure enough for my home?

Absolutely. Dynamic IPs (which change periodically) are perfectly secure and actually offer a slight privacy benefit. They work flawlessly for gaming, streaming, and everyday browsing.

What exactly is 'Up-Time' ?

Up-time is the percentage of time your internet connection is fully operational. For example, a 99% uptime means your connection is solid and reliable for almost the entire year, with only very brief interruptions.

Why don't home plans have a 100% uptime guarantee?

In the real world, local power cuts, severe storms, or necessary infrastructure upgrades can cause temporary drops. We aim for maximum uptime for everyone, but home plans don't carry the strict financial guarantees that enterprise plans do.

What happens if a business Leased Line goes down?

Our Leased Lines are backed by a strict 99% to 99.9% uptime SLA guarantee. We actively monitor these lines 24/7 and use failover systems to keep you online. If we fail to meet that strict standard, you are often compensated according to your contract.

I've never heard of CDN Peering. What is it?

Think of it as a private VIP fast-lane between our local network and the servers of major tech giants like Google, Netflix, Microsoft, and Amazon.

How does peering actually improve my daily internet use?

Because your data travels directly to these companies instead of bouncing around the crowded public internet, your YouTube videos start instantly, Netflix plays in 4K without buffering, and large game updates download much faster.

Do all plans get the same peering benefits?

We provide standard peering for our home users to ensure smooth streaming and browsing. However, our Enterprise packages get 'Full Peering' priority, meaning critical business applications and cloud platforms run with zero delay.

What is network Caching?

Imagine keeping your favorite snacks in your pantry instead of driving to the grocery store every single time you're hungry. Caching works the same way—we store popular websites, app updates, and heavy media files locally on our network so they load instantly when you ask for them.

Will caching make my downloads faster?

Definitely ! If someone else in your area just downloaded a massive Windows update, our servers keep a temporary copy. When you go to download the same update, it comes directly from our local servers at blazing speeds.

Is it safe? Do you cache my private data?

No, never. We only cache publicly available, heavily requested static content (like generic website images and public videos). Your personal emails, passwords, and banking sessions are strictly secure and never stored on our caching servers.

What is Latency, and is it the same as speed?

They are different ! 'Speed' is how much data you can download at once, but 'Latency'(or ping) is the time it takes for a signal to travel from your computer to the server and back. It's measured in milliseconds (ms).

Why do gamers care so much about low latency?

In fast-paced competitive games, a fraction of a second matters. If your latency is high, you'll experience ' lag'—you might press a button, but your character reacts a moment too late. Low latency ensures instant reactions.

Besides gaming, who else needs low latency?

Day traders doing real-time financial transactions, companies hosting massive live webinars, and remote workers making crystal-clear VoIP calls all rely heavily on low latency to prevent delays and dropped signals.

What does CPE stand for?

CPE stands for Customer Premises Equipment. It's the hardware (like a small receiver dish or antenna) that we install on your roof or balcony to catch our wireless signal and bring the internet into your building.

What is the difference between Point-to-Junction and Point-to-Point?

Point-to-Junction (used for homes) means the signal comes from a local neighborhood hub that serves multiple houses. Point-to-Point (used for enterprises) is a dedicated, laser-focused wireless beam sent directly from our main tower exclusively to your office.

Will bad weather like heavy rain ruin my wireless connection?

We use advanced 5.8 GHz and modern AC technologies that cut through rain and bad weather extremely well. While an unusually severe storm might cause a minor hiccup for home users, our enterprise Point-to-Point connections are engineered to stay rock solid.

What is an ONU device?

An ONU (Optical Network Unit) is the small modem-like box we install inside your house for fiber connections. It takes the pulses of light coming through the fiber-optic cable and translates them into the electrical data signals that your Wi-Fi router understands.

What is GEPON Ethernet?

GEPON is a highly efficient type of fiber technology that allows us to deliver incredibly fast gigabit speeds over a passive network. This means you get a consistently fast connection without us needing to install bulky, power-hungry equipment in your street.

Why do enterprise plans use 'Dual Band Media Converters' ?

Corporate offices handle massive amounts of heavy traffic all day long. Dual-band media converters are premium, heavy-duty devices designed to process huge volumes of data simultaneously across different frequencies, ensuring the fiber connection never bottlenecks under extreme load.

Why do I have to pay an Installation Charge (OTC)?

Setting up a new, high-speed connection isn't just flipping a switch remotely. The One-Time Charge (OTC) covers the cost of the physical hardware (like the ONU or CPE dish), the wiring required to reach your building, and the labor for our engineers to mount and configure everything properly.

Why are the installation charges higher for business plans?

Enterprise setups require industrial-grade hardware, dedicated high-capacity wiring, and complex network configurations. We often have to run completely new, dedicated lines and set up specialized security routers, which takes more time and premium equipment.

Is a Wi-Fi router included in the installation fee?

Typically, the OTC covers the receiver equipment that brings the internet to your house (like the ONU or antenna). Depending on our current promotional offers, a standard Wi-Fi router might be included, or you can use your own compatible router. Check with our sales team for the latest deals !
